Hila Fahima, the renowned opera singer, captivates audiences around the world with her exceptional talent and mesmerizing performances. Born into a musical family, Fahima's passion for singing developed at an early age, and she embarked on a journey that would lead her to become one of the most celebrated opera singers of her generation.
Hila started her career at the young artist program of the israeli Opera, she is a former ensemble member of Deutsche Oper Berlin. Between the years of 2013 and 2020, Hila was an ensemble member at the Vienna State Opera, where she has appeared as Gilda in Rigoletto, Princesse Eudoxie in La Juive, Zerbinetta, Queen of the night, and many more.
Hila won the 1st prize in the European Vocal Competition DEBUT 2010,
1st prize at the “Stella Maris” 2013 Singing Competition,
and 2nd Price on the International Singing Competition of Toulouse.
Some recent engagements, including a house debut in Teatro Alla Scala, a role debut as Olympia in Tel Aviv, and New Years concert with the Stuttgart Philharmonic.
Early engagements include her appearance at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse as Blondchen in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Poulenc’s Gloria at the Prague spring Festival, Die Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte at the Berlin State opera, and in Die Waldbühne in Berlin, at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and in Vienna state Opera. Hila did her BBC Proms Debut as Ein junger Hirt in a concert performance of Tannhäuser at the with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
Other highlights are the role of Giunia in a world premiere of Lucio Silla at Theater Basel, Faure’s Requiem with the L’Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France and a Tour with Les Arts Florissants with the role of Dalinda in Ariodante.
